New way to read the Torah! We believe in the power of daily scripture reading and daily bible study, and have designed Read the Torah from the ground up to help you engage with the Torah in Hebrew and English and establish positive habits.

• A reading plan that encourages daily Chumash study, learning Torah, and reading one Torah chapter every day
• "Streak" tracking, which shows you how many consecutive days you've been reading the Torah
• The ability to "free read" any part of the Torah
• Features to take text notes directly in the context of a verse
• The ability to record voice notes directly in the context of a verse
• A space to capture your reflections, referred to as "questions" and "outlines," at the end of your reading

What will Aleph Beta do with all the notes and insights users create?

The outlines, questions, recordings, and text notes that you create while using the Read the Torah app are completely owned by you. Aleph Beta will never access them without your explicit permission. They will not be used for content inspiration, advertising purposes, or otherwise by us. In future versions of Read the Torah, you may choose to share your insights with others, but you will maintain full control over the content you've created.

Which Torah translations are used in Read the Torah?

Read the Torah uses The Holy Scriptures published by JPS.

Will my reading streak be affected if I observe the Sabbath?

If you observe the Sabbath, there's no need to worry! When you turn on the "Do not disturb me on Saturdays" setting, we'll remain quiet and your streak progress won't be lost when you resume reading on Sunday. This feature can be found in the Settings menu under the Notifications tab.

How will Aleph Beta content be incorporated into the app?

After completing your reading, you will have the opportunity to watch and enjoy an Aleph Beta video that is connected to the reading.
